Military hideout since the 12th century, Sédaiges Castle played an important part in thre fighting between the English and the French during Medieval times in Auvergne.
This impressive castle is a fine and unique example of Troubadour architecture from the 19th century. The same family has always lived there and managed to maintain the magnificent interior decoration. The visitor can admire 5 classified Flanders tapestries and an exhibition concerning “Games and toys from the olden days”. A 6 hectare garden is open to the public.
